South Side Focus - A Unique Neighborhood

Anyone from Pittsburgh or who has lived in the area knows that the city is composed of neighborhoods… some ninety plus. But even those who are from the area probably have never been to all of them. This month’s issue will direct you to one of the most prominent of them.

Perhaps one of the best known city neighborhoods is South Side. Originally known as Birmingham, South Side had at its core the steel mills and the church.
