About the Cover
Just Ducky Tours operates a fleet of fully restored WWII amphibious vehicles, known as DUKWs that are equipped to travel on both land and water. During a one-hour fully narrated tour of Pittsburgh, your ducklings will visit Pittsburgh’s past and present, from Grant Street and the beautiful Omni William Penn Hotel to the Theater District and the North Side. On the way, the ducklings will learn facts that some Pittsburghers don't even know! Just when you think you’ve seen it all, the Duck effortlessly leaves dry land and splashes down into the river for a fantastic view of the city and its surroundings! Just Ducky Tours operates, rain or shine, daily April through October and weekends in November. Tours begin at 10:30AM and run every hour and a half thereafter until 6:00PM. Reservations are strongly recommended as tour times and routes are subject to change. Just Ducky’s vehicles can accommodate up to 30 people and are wheelchair accessible. Each duck can accommodate two wheelchairs at a time as well as providing a lift for those who can not climb stairs. Whether you’re new to the city or from the ‘burgh’, there is no better way to experience the city. If you are looking for a fun excursion for your group, don’t get your feathers in a ruffle... tours are offered for girl scouts, weddings, conventions, and corporate outings. In addition to offering school field trips, Just Ducky Tours has a partnership for our student ducklings interested in touring the John Heinz Regional History Center as well as taking a duck boat ride. The best way to view Pittsburgh is by land and water. The only Sightseeing Company you can do that with is us! JUST DUCKY TOURS! So get together all you ducklings, come with us to splash down into Pittsburgh, and have the ride of your life!
